If you are looking for authentic Uzbek food, this place does not disappoint. The Qurutob, which is a bread layered with yogurt and vegetable dish is a hidden gem! The kabobs here are especially flavorful and tender. There is also a Pakistani menu. My wife and I were introduced to this restaurant by good friends, and normally I wouldn’t be interested in a place that featured so much lamb, but theirs was particularly good. Will definitely return.

I dined in — everything was beautifully presented, really clean and professional. I had lamb shashlik and lyulya kebab — both were amazing: juicy, flavorful, and the portions were big. I finished the first one easily, but could barely get through the second — that’s how filling it was. The meat was tender, perfectly grilled, and not greasy. Great service and nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back!

Hi all. I would like to recommend this place to everyone. Very cozy environment. Friendly staff. Service for all 200%. The kitchen is just great. Very tasty food. You can feel the hand of a chef, a professional, serving dishes is a separate issue. On top of that, a dessert from the chef. We were very happy to visit, this is a homely cozy place. Thanks

I had an amazing experience here! We came with a large group and were unfamiliar with Uzbek cuisine. The staff came up with a plan for food and we rolled with it. It was a tremendous amount of food, and the flavors were immaculate. So many different dishes including salads, rices, and meats. I highly recommend trying this place out and giving them your business!!

Best Plov I've had! I had never tried Tajik cuisine, so I tried it too and it was delicious. Super good place. The only downside is the bathroom (extremely dirty and gross). The food, the ambience, the service, is top notch. Thank you, Mustafa! Great guy.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Cafe & Market Rokhat in Philadelphia! The highlight was their traditional Tajik dish, Kurutob, which was a revelation—perfectly layered flatbread, tangy yogurt, special oil, and a fresh salad that brought it all together. The flavors were authentic, vibrant, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with exceptional service that made me feel right at home. The staff’s passion for their cuisine shone through, and the halal menu added to the appeal. I also loved the affordable prices and the chance to explore such a unique culinary tradition. Thank you to this wonderful place where I truly felt at home — just like in Dushanbe! I came all the way from California, and the first thing I wanted was to taste our national dishes — and this spot had them all! As soon as someone recommended it, I didn’t hesitate to come. Everything was incredibly delicious, full of authentic flavors that brought back memories. The hospitality was warm, the food was fresh, and the atmosphere reminded me of family dinners back home. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Tajik taste and soulful comfort. Thank you so much — I’ll definitely be back again!
